Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Wednesday 20th February 2013: It's a beautiful place to be this morning, all calm and tranquil, the frost glistening and glinting in the early morning light of yet another sunburst dawn. The surf is small, a couple of feet but all glass and oilly smoothness. A longboard would glide itself across those smooth, smooth waves. But the other side is equally as glassy and equally as inviting and has that extra size to it too. That is the place to be for some surf today, although here is a very pleasant place to stop a while.
