Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Sunday 24th February 2013:
It's a still and pleasant, calm Sunday morning, the lightest of breezes still chilling in from the north northeast. The surf is still pumping, a three to four foot swell pouring glassy waves onto all of the breaks, Booby's being the best right now.
Or maybe that is just the beautiful lighting effect of that massive sunrise. The Quies, Bullrock and the headland being brightly highlighted, the peak in the middle seemingly illuminated.
Yep, it is picturesque this morning! Chilly but pretty.
And it looks like it's only going to get better too!
