3ft Light Offshore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Monday 25th February 2013: The surf is a little smaller than it has been on this morning's dropping tide but it is still clean and peeling, the wind staying calm and offshore. There's a couple to three feet of curling and glassy waves enjoying the empty bay today, the north easterly wind still sharply chilly, the sunshine of dawn trying hard to blast through that early morning cloud cover. And so far winning. Let's hope that the wind doesn't pick up too much! This afternoon's tide should maybe show the start of another swell, not getting big or anything but just being a bit more solid with a bit more of a drop-in to be had. Yep, it looks like another surf filled day ahead of us! Enjoy.
