Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.55 a.m. on Wednesday 13th March 2013:
It's a milder morning, just!
The wind has dropped in strength and swung around to the north west, the swell has almost vanished, there's rain in the air beneath those dark and threatening clouds, Kelly Slater has taken the Quik Pro 2013 and all is as it probably should be in the world of surf riding!
You're probably going to have more fun watching the re-runs of the semi finals and finals from Kirra at quiksilverlive.com/progoldcoast/2013 than waiting for a rideable wave at any of the breaks around here this morning.
There's barely a wave breaking at high tide and the light onshore north westerly is strong enough to slop up what tiny little surf there is.
And that's probably as good as it's going to get today too!
While watching all the action at Kirra, make sure you watch the Superheat, made up of surfers voted for on 'Crowd Call'. Congrats to Steph Gilmore on winning and huge shout out to Rabbit for those barrel rides! Dane, Ando and Jordy were fun to watch too!
Better than the main event?
Certainly as good as!
