Surf conditions at 7.05 a.m. on Monday 25th March 2013:
The swell has dropped again this morning but there are still some really nice little waves continuing to reel into the bay.
After yesterday's super fun session (and where was everybody in the morning? And it was only a little busier in the afternoon?) there's a foot or two of super clean and peeling little surf sliding off those sandbanks. And only now and then there are those still three footers, lumbering onto the breaks before turning themselves inside out.
You know before you go in that you are going to have lost patience and paddled back too far inside when those sets arrive! There's a huge wait for them. And that wait is going to be chilly! It's just 0 deg C out there, all overcast and dull but calm though.
So it's smaller but still beautifully shaped, still fun looking.
Longboards at dawn!
