Light Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Tuesday 26th March 2013:
Whew, it really is cold out there this morning! Beautiful but sub-zero.
And that wind is only light but absolutely bone rattling.
The surf? Well, there is the odd rideable one coming through at barely a foot. Otherwise it would be tempting to say that it's flat. But there is a little peak walling up every now and then, allowing a fun glide on a longboard maybe.
But the sun is shining and the sky is clear and that always helps! And we're hoping that this afternoon's pushing tide might show a few knee high plus ones to make it worth braving these temperatures. But by then it's likely to be warmer too, if this sunshine sticks around!
With Easter rapidly approaching we are busily sharpening up the shop ready for another hopefully happy Summer season. And we do have a few bits 'n bobs left to clear out making for the odd bargain still to be discovered.
