Boca Druif, located behind the Tierra del Sol golf course, is a slab that doubles up on itself.
Strictly a bodyboarding wave but some surfers have been known to charge it
on the good offshore days. It breaks on a very shallow reef and is very
steep, hollow and powerful. The main peak is mostly lefts but because it is
a very wide bay it offers some rights. On the far right side of the bay
there is jetty that turns into a sick little right hander wedge. On average
onshore days the wave is still pretty hollow and barreling but with shorter
rides. This spot prefers a north swell with low or south winds in order
to really turn on with long, big and hollow lefts. This spot is for
experienced surfers only and is usually uncrowded.
