Outward Bound Costa Rica inspires a lifetime of leadership, growth and a commitment to serve through adventure-based learning. Since 1994, led by lifelong and safety-conscious surfers, we have provided surf courses utilizing Costa Rica's tropical beach breaks and picturesque locations to help participants discover their hidden potential and move beyond what they thought possible. OBCR’s surf basecamp is located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

This summer, we’re offering two surf courses for ages 14-18: Surf Service & CPR (two-weeks) and Surf & Service Extension (one-week). Many individuals prefer to extend their summer with us on a 2-8 weeks adventure to additionally experience our other courses hiking, waterfall rappelling, scuba diving, ziplining, serving local communities, and more.
