I created Hang Ten Yoga. My passion developed as I began counteracting the effects of surfing with Yoga. I relate my teachings to water sports and snow sports, looking closely at the breath, alignment, strengthening, opening and increased flexibility, reducing the potential for injury. Within my practice and teachings, we focus on Asana, Pranayama and Meditation techniques to focus the mind, learn about our bodies and imbalances, in an attempt to attain a state of harmony within the body and mind.
I like to think of myself as a young and very active instructor, tailoring every session to meet the needs of my students, be it beginners, intermediates or strong sports men and women. I teach beginners and intermediates Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga for Surfers, through group and one to one classes. I run Yoga in Kingsbridge and Harpenden also offering private sessions across all of Hertfordshire and Devon.
