If you haven't yet seen Kai Neville's latest surf film Listen Now, Misty Dawn now's your chance, with the full whip now playing in full, for free.
Starring Dion Agius, Creed McTaggart, Jack Freestone, Mitch Coleborn, Nate Tyler, Brendon Gibbens, Chippa Wilson, Taj Burrow and Shaun Manners – you know, that eclectic Epokhe team – following these rippers across Australia and Indonesia.
Need more convincing? We asked Mr Agius to break the film down. Here's what he had to say.
Tell us a bit about the movie, what's the premise?
DA: The movie is based around the EPOKHE surf team an their travels over the last 12 months.
It started out as one team trip with all the boys and then somehow boomed into a full length surf film. And, late in the project, we signed two new surprise riders.
Talk to us about locations, what's the setting?
It's filmed all over the world, but a lot of the footage comes from Australia.
You've worked with Kai Neville on projects before, how did it feel to work with him again?
It's always fun as hell. We grew up together and I can't believe that we still get to make films together after all this time.
Kai did such an incredible job on this film so it's rad to be a part of it and it's always been a dream of ours to have a surf team for Epokhe and be able to make films.
What's the highlights of this film, for you?
The highlight is just seeing all the team together and having all our friends together and having an epic time.
The whole team are amazing friends so hopefully the film shows everyone having a good time with Their mates and makes you wanna go surfing.
What's the vibe like with Epokhe right now?
It's going pretty crazy right now, it's almost been five years since we launched and we are so grateful that all our friends are down to be a part of it.
Getting to work with the best surfers in the work and making sunglasses and films that we dig is the best feeling ever.
