What a few days it's been for the Old Continent. The weekend was packed with memorable moments from all across Europe including Hossegor, Mundaka, South West UK, the Canaries, Morocco and more. And our inbox has been blowing up ever since.
Now that this run of swell has officially died down (though a fresh pulse is on the way), we've pulled together a gallery of images and vids that stood above the rest during this incredible run of waves – all handily broken down by area, just for you.
The hallowed shores of Hossegor went psycho for Valentine's Day and handily, RIPITUP were on hand to shoot the above, exclusive edit. Dig in, here.
The unfortunate thing about this swell pulse is it was too west to set Nazare into overdrive. But that doesn't mean there wasn't swell in the water. Check the above for a messed up slab session, courtesy of Helio Antonio. See full story, here.
There's been a whole load of images coming out of Morocco – and they're all incredible. Maybe even the best run of swell since 2016. But one that really stood out was this mind-bending image of Noa Mizuno as captured by Christian Edwards. What a keg. See here and here.
Of course, Mundaka roared. The jewel in Europe's crown earned her title, switching on during that powerful storm and showing why it's the greatest river mouth wave in the world.
The UK got waves, too. Though marred by a stiff offshore breeze. If you found shelter though, there were plenty of corners to huck into something out of your comfort zone. See here.
Europe's answer to Pipeline was on fire for a locals only session at the start of the week, as this multi-day, multi-venued swell faded away. See more from this session, here.
