There's nothing quite like waking up to find empty, thumping tubes at one of the best beachbreaks in Europe.

Travelling between Europe's various surfing hubs for the past 3 months, with Guy Macindoe behind the lens, Alex Dive scored this solid dreamy dawn session on the site of Quik Pro in Hossegor.

We scored it on the contest bank for an hour and half before anyone showed up.

"It was the Monday morning after the final of the Quiksilver Pro, we got up at dawn and checked it out at first light," explains Guy. "There was no one else around and we couldn't believe our luck so we just went out.

"We saw a few okay ones but it just got better and better. We scored it on the contest bank for an hour and half before anyone showed up."

Continuing their tour of the best waves in Europe, the lads are currently in Ireland, Guinness in hand they're excited to score big.
