Nonchalance as Orcas Join In On Norwegian Surf Contest

By on

In today's act of pure nonchalance, a few Norwegian surfers couldn't care less after a pod of killer whales join in on a surf contest.

The 2017 Lofoten Masters didn't even pause while a couple of orcas entered the lineup, with competitors casually saluting the pod on its way through. The pair made their way through the contest site during the event's semi-final.

Elevated heart-rate aside, surfer in red drops into the next wave and pumps on through. Nonchalance. Anyway, orcas haven't been involved in that many attacks on humans. In fact, the only documented attacks that have resulted in fatalities are from orcas in captivity.
