Sam Smart: Les Jours Gris

Another Winter Session from the Smart brothers, this time from Sam during a rather grey trip to the south of France – hence the name.

The peak was shifty, but Sam made it look easy.

"Les Jours Gris came about during a two-week trip in France," tells filmmaker Jason Yeoman. "We stayed in an apartment in Biarritz for a few days during the swell. It arrived, along with heavy cloud to set the tone. The peak was shifty, but Sam made it look easy."

Expect to see more from the Smarts, as Jason is now concentrating his efforts on filming a series of short surf films featuring Sam and Seb titled Against the Grain.
