Skeet Derham finds Monsters at Meñakoz

During a bomb hunting stint in the Basque Country, Australian Skeet Derham was lucky enough to tap into the biggest swell of autumn so far.

"It was a day of strong winds but in the late afternoon of the 8th of November, some big wave surfers paddled out." says filmer Victor Delgado. "Skeet was one of the standouts of the session along with Twig, but there were other chargers too."

With the size of the waves at Meñakoz, this wave is known as one of the best big wave spots in Europe, and with this session coinciding with the biggest waves of the season so far, this edit is firmly placed in contention for the Commitment Award as well as the main competition, Session of the Winter.
