HIGHLIGHTS from day two at the Hurley Pro at Trestles in California.
No-one likes losing in Round 2 and none more so than local boy Kolohe Andino. He almost had the win nailed down but failed to bank quite enough and was undone via a desperation rodeo thrown by Heitor Alves. A move landed so cleanly by the athletic Brazilian that it almost seemed run of the mill, it wasn't. Oddly those few seconds didn't make the cut on the highlight? You can see it here.
Pat Gudauskas could well feel equally frustrated coming up against a rampaging Jeremy Flores, edging the Californian duo closer to the point of no return in 2012.
When competition resumes, defending Hurley Pro at Trestles winner Kelly Slater comes up against Matt Wilkinson, in the opening heat of Round 3. Forecast-wise it looks like Wednesday and Thursday offer a punchy two day window to finish up the comp. It'll be live here.
