Surf conditions at 6.05 a.m. on Sunday 28th July 2013:
Okay, sorry if you've been trying to access the surf reports on our website, WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM, it seems that the rush of visitors on Saturday morning has taken the control panel down completely! You can access the site but I cannot update it!
So, until we get it sorted (if ever!), I'll pop the surfcheck on here and our social media (facebook: constantine surf, Twitter: constantinesurf) but without the images and other stuff.
Anyway, what you want to know is what the surf is like? Well, yeah, after last night's light rain, it's a little drier and brighter and fresher this morning with smaller sharper surf.
Two feet of peaking and walling waves are pushing in against the lightest of offshore breezes. Those set waves are a little bit bigger but also a little fatter and slower looking. It's the little ones that are snapping and reeling.
The breeze is a light south easterly right now, the forecasts are shouting for strong south westerlies though and buckets of rain. Maybe this afternoon.
In the meantime, the surf is okay, two feet, clean and sparkly, the car park is as empty as the lineup and the sky is bright above.
Have a great day!
