Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Friday 6th September 2013:
Did we skip Autumn?
We seem to have fast forwarded straight into Winter this morning.
It's a chilly one with a steady trickle of rainfall, the surf a lazy swirl of two foot slop with no real bank to break on. HTC is just not doing it right now!
There's barely a breeze out there this morning and yet the sea looks as though there's a steady onshore slopping it up.
Some forecasts are showing a swing to offshore for this breeze but that doesn't feel right. Let's hope so but this onshore, as light as it is, feels set to stay awhile.
Booby's later might be a little more sheltered and by then these dark rain clouds might have slipped away too. Mind you it is quite nice to see a bit of rain, as long as it doesn't stay around forever!
Yeah, I'd give it a couple of hours and then have a little look back in the corner.
It could be a different world of surf by then!
As well as a new delivery of Xcel winter suits the other day, we have finally received our shipment of surfboards from Channel Islands and...Lost!
Check the pics below for some happy smiley faces of those who've already grabbed their new sticks!
With a massive choice of deck grip, a host of FCS, Futures and Captain Fin Co. fins, a huge selection of leashes along with all those other bits 'n bobs that help to improve those surf sessions, it should very well be worth a drop-in for a look-see if you're around this way!
