Surf conditions at 7.50 a.m. on Saturday 16th November 2013:
It is looking pretty good this morning, the wind is non-existent, the swell continues its rhythmic roll shorewards and the sandbanks are nicely placed.
What breeze there is is drifting from the north east this morning but it is so light that it is having no effect on those waves. The surf is rolling steadily in, two to three feet of glassy waves with three to four to five foot sets.
The biggest sets are a long, long way apart but when they do come they look solid!
And the sun is trying to fight its way over the horizon too, not very successfully but at least it's trying!
Yep, it's all looking great for a very enjoyable, glassy and clean surf session or two today!
And with some cold weather aiming our way for next week, now might be the time to consider upgrading your winter wetsuit or getting your first one? We have the complete range of this season's Xcel and O'Neill winter suits on the rails, so if you're around this way this weekend, why not drop in on us for a look-see!
Have a little look at this from Sharpy, a few Winter rules at surfm.ag/2013/11/14/winter-rules
And if you are traveling our way this weekend, you can stop off for some great refreshment at Strong Adolfo's on the Atlantic Highway, just this side of Wadebridge.
I haven't managed to get in there yet but all the guys are frothing over it. Great coffee, great food, great breakfasts, a great place. I might have to start opening later soon to give me a chance to try it out myself!
