Surf conditions at 6.20 a.m. on Tuesday 2nd September 2014:
A super bright sunburst dawn is spreading its warmth across a coast of silver this morning, a leaden cloud covered sky contrasting the shimmering sand, the grey sea merging the two.
And the surf is pumping!
Three to four to five foot surf is marching in, the air still, a slight breath of offshore breeze whispering into the waves faces. And those waves are filing in in sets. The biggest waves of the biggest sets being a drop-in and a half, a tall man standing in height, plus just a little bit for those who don’t like feet and inches.
And every forecast on the wide world web are showing that double-digit wave period swell to roll our way all day long while that light, light offshore breeze gently shapes and holds those peeling waves to perfection.
We should even see some very pleasant, warming sunshine too.
Have a very good day!
