The rain came, the levy has broken, intense floods ensued, the beaches are unsurfable, homes are being destroyed and we're all wishing for those not too distant perfect 5 foot sunset sessions at Banana. As this Christmas day is my last day in Tamraght I think it's a perfect time to take inventory of the myriad blessings in which we share, least of which is a dry home and the physical ability to enjoy what mother nature so generously provides on a near daily basis. I'd like to give a HUGE thanks to the Pirate Coast family (Dale, Clint, Clarissa, Mustapha, and Snoop) for providing myself and thousands of surfers across the world the friendliest home away from home. It has been an epic journey in which I am forever grateful. Everything will be back to normal soon and Banana’s will be perfect. The next time you paddle out and those glassy sets are peeling across the point pause for a second and appreciate the grandeur of one the greatest gifts to mankind… waves. Until that next time... Au revoir and Joyeux Noël. B-Rad

About Pirate Coast Surf House
Founded in the Trucial Coast state of Dubai - a notorious pirate stronghold - Pirate Coast Surf Traders have plundered our way around the world and secured a sure foothold along the Barbary Coast of Morocco - from which the feared Sale Rovers ravaged the fleets of Europe - and where amazing right-hand point breaks offer endless opportunities for daring do. From North Africa we pressed further west across the treacherous deep to conquer the graveyard of the Atlantic at Cape Hatteras - where Edward Teach aka Blackbeard met his eventual demise - and where heavy lipped barrels await a hearty carving from our fiberglass rapiers. From these strategic redoubts we specialize in guided adventure surfing excursions to exotic locales - Morocco, Senegal, Liberia, Cote d'ivoire, Ghana, Yemen, Oman, Maldives, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.
